ABOUT S.T.A.R.S.

How do I receive the home study units for Units 1-46?
You can complete Units 1-22 online by printing the post tests for each unit in the set or by ordering hard copies. Send a check or money order with the post tests for grading. You can print the order form, identify the units you desire & enclose a check or money order to our address if you want hard copies for Units 23-46.

How soon will my order or results be ready?
All orders and post tests will be prepared within 24 hours of your request.

Can I do these units again?
No. The A.R.R.T. made a change in January, 2003 that you cannot repeat self-learning material because the A.R.R.T. wants professionals to gain NEW information.

Can we share the home study units with our friends?
Yes, as long as everyone receiving continuing education points has paid for the service before their certificates of completion are issued. Units 23-28 have published texts with them. 1 set of books may be ordered with multiple post tests for many folks to use. Nurses in radiology or involved with x rays can use these home studies for state license requirements too! Please let them know.

What if I have questions about the order form or the contents of the home studies?
Please feel free to contact us directly by telephone, e-mail or written correspondence. If we are not available on the telephone or e-mail, leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Will you have more home studies in the future?
Yes, we are always looking for new, inexpensive materials that may be of interest to technologists of all specialties and nurses too so that we can keep your costs down while providing quality material.
